Dear edX Partnership Team, The Institute for Rural Development Nepal (IRD) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering rural communities through inclusive education, sustainable development, and capacity-building initiatives. We are excited about the opportunity to partner with edX to bring world-class learning opportunities to underserved populations across Nepal. While we do not currently have existing digital learning content, we are actively working to build structured educational programs that address the needs of rural youth, women, and marginalized groups. Our goal is to integrate edX’s high-quality courses and certificate programs into our community outreach efforts, enabling learners to gain essential skills in digital literacy, entrepreneurship, climate resilience, and workforce readiness. We believe that a partnership with edX will allow us to: - Provide accessible and globally recognized learning pathways to remote communities. - Support career advancement and economic empowerment through skill development. - Co-create localized learning experiences using edX’s platform and expertise.
